Ingredients |
1 cup minced onions
1/2 cup minced celery
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup catsup or chili sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs. each vinegar and lemon juice
1 Tbs. Dijon-style mustard
1 Tbs. chili powder
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce

Directions |
Saute the onions and celery in the butter until soft.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
Simmer slowly, uncovered for 20 minutes

| Good served with whole roasted chicken or cup-up fryer, flank steak, spare ribs or lamb chops. |
